In electronic music, there is an unfortunate reality that, if you can create a stage presence and make it look like you’re pushing buttons, you can collect you cheque and be on your way. This, of course, is not what the edm community wants to see when they are paying a fraction of their annual earnings to attend worldwide music festivals.
Thankfully, these individuals dedicate their time to expose the fakes, and put them on blast for their mockery and disrespect to the rest of the community. The accused are put in the spotlight for their inability to admit that they are not what they seem to be. This is because their ego’s are so big that they would rather facade their way to the top of the charts, than admit who is really producing their music, or that they are playing a pre-recorded set.
